I can’t remember the last time I actually posted any writing on this thing. It seems that when you’re striving to be a professional writer you’re inspired by anyone and anything. Nowadays, I spend 14 hours of my day writing for work and lack the energy and enthusiasm to write for myself. The same dilemma goes hand-in-hand with reading. I think the last book I read was Invisible Monsters.
I need to not let work consume me! I love my job, it may not be the journalist one I always dreamt about, but it is an awesome creative copywriting job.
I’m going to try to write more blog posts, I don’t want to be that person who only writes for a paycheck. I want to continue doing it because it’s something I’ve always loved doing :)
